Alhena
CHARDONNAY IGT
Tasting notes
Colour: golden yellow;
Nose: very intense, fruity bouquet; the nose reveals aromas of ripe banana, pineapple, honey and toasted nuts.
Flavour: smooth and elegant. Tropical fruit flavors weave together in a nice range of flavors that linger on the palate ending with a long, fruity aftertaste.
Lively acidity well balanced by the alcohol and the wood aromas of the barrel.
Pairings: It matches well-structured first courses, rich flavoured fish or mixed boiled meat; after some years of bottle aging, drink it with mouldy cheeses.
